Surely all art is the result of one’s having been in danger, of having gone through an experience all the way to the end, where no one can go any further.

Jacob: Call your editor, then. Do something. If I miss just one of those drones, everyone here dies.
Roger: I --
Girii: You'll do it, Roger.
Roger: I will?
Girii: Sure you will.
Roger: Wait -- where are you going?
Girii: You're fine. The crew's fine. Jacob needs me.
Roger: Uh, no. No, I do not like how this is going down. Captain? Can I borrow one of your lifeboats?
Captain T: (Deflate the chair, Mischa. I'll take the helm.) In this storm? That'd be suicide.
Roger: And staying here isn't? Okay. Fine. I can do this. Spider Jerusalem didn't give up when they damaged his brain. Cory Doctorow didn't give up when they punctured his hot-air balloon. Bloggers don't give up. I can do this.
Mischa: Who?
Captain T: Old cartoons, lad. Let him be, he's on a roll.

On most pages, there’s a humorous note in the hover text of the image. Put your cursor on the comic, let it sit there for a second or two, and you should see it.

If people aren’t seeing the hover text jokes, then maybe I should stop doing them?

  4. mastermenthe says:

    Ah, sorry. I see now.
