I am not evil. I am at worst one of the excellent damned.

Chapter 15, Page 3

All right, that’s the end of this short visit with Lola.  Something like a visit to grandma’s house, only with a lot of angry politicians and a stack of dead bodies in the cellar.

On Monday we’re visiting Girii to see how prophetic the cover image of this chapter will turn out to be.

Lola: Yes, well. In any case, the situation will be resolved soon.
Stefano: Good. Let's wait for that outcome, then. Thank you for your report, Doctor Lamb. And Lola? Glad to have you back.
Lola: Learn to do without me, Stefano. Or go to hell, all of you.

  1. Z00l00k says:

More than one skeleton in the closet there.

  2. chukg says:

That monitor going to black like an old TV looks really good.

  3. Pat Scaramuzza says:

Monitors in this comic have gone through a few metamorphoses. I initially drew fog screens because I liked how they looked, they were futuristic, and they were easy to draw. But the other artists I hired hated the fog screens. Now I just let them draw whatever they like. đŸ™‚

  4. Xilinoc says:

That last panel caught me completely off-guard. Never expected Lola to show that kind of complexity, at least regarding the Genocide Project, especially because she’s usually so good at concealing her true thoughts and feelings (minus when she was killing Kevin, of course).

  5. Jerden says:

I think Lola just wants to retire. She’s had enough, she’s too old for this.

The problem is, there doesn’t seem to be anyone else that can be trusted with the position of Most Powerful Person in the world.
