Kasey gave me a wonderful full-page send-off for Lola, don’t you think? Just as well-attended as Joey’s funeral, and much better drawn.
I notice that some readers have been complaining about how quickly this is progressing, and whether or not the characters could have done something differently. (In the original script, Lola escaped…with Jacob. That led to a larger war, with a brainwashed Jacob on the wrong side for a while.)
But the comic *is* ending, and this last chapter is almost half over. I have to accelerate our story. But stay tuned! I promise you that there are still many more revelations, twists, and morbid bits of wisdom to come. 🙂

Missing the bandages he had when we saw him last too. I know your moving quickly, but a major Character like Lola eliminated in a single post? I get the feeling there’s something more to this page that we’ll see soon.
I kind of feel that way too. I don’t *see* her body…
If you dont have the body laying in front of you, with multiple bullet holes in the skull AND heart, then they aren’t dead. and depending on who it is, they may still not be dead.
“send-off” So she really is dead. Jacob now knows his memory was reset at least once and he is not likely to accept that again, so I don’t see how the unused script was going to corral him into a new memory wipe anyway.

Lmfao am I the only person to read this page and not even question whether Lola were still alive? She obviously killed all these dudes and then went off somewhere to do whatever it is she wants to do. She’s not under that pile of bodies.
