Chapter 16, Page 20

Rejected dialogue for that last panel:  “The barrel is still warm and I was in prison an hour ago.  Don’t judge me.”  I decided that was too Warren Ellis-esque.  Jacob’s practical, but he’s not a pervert.  🙂

Jacob: Is Lola really that out of control?
Caera: I have no idea what she might do next. Do you?
Jacob: With the Brahmin tech gone...Lola will release another Guayaquil pandemic to stop Fumiaki's plague.
Caera: Millions will die. Stop her.
Jacob: But then everyone might die.
Caera: Then help her. Make a decision, soldier. Why is it so hard for you to realize that you can't hide? Other people can, but not you. And why don't you have a holster?
Jacob: I was in prison an hour ago. Don't judge me.
