When action grows unprofitable, gather information. When information grows unprofitable, sleep.

Chapter 8, Page 21

Let’s have one last poll to round the chapter out! ย We’re going to two pages a week soon, but I haven’t decided which days to post on. ย What are your thoughts?

Dahnai: I know you've been spying on the Genocide Man. He's not what you'd expect. You and I don't get along very well. But this isn't about us. The Slo-cows have been found. They need your protection. If you won't help for their sakes...or for mine...then please accept this gift, as payment for safe harbor.
Radio: That trinket is unnecessary, my dear. I had always intended to retrieve you and my lost creations. I want you by my side...

Discussion (16)¬

  1. Moxie Man says:

Update it whatever days you choose, as it’s your comic. Just let us know prior to the change.

  2. Zarpaulus says:

Let me guess, Tatsu was the guy in the air pocket on that whale.

  3. Remus Shepherd says:

I know it’s my decision, but I like getting feedback. ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. NH says:

Mondays and Thursdays are good days, keeps the week alive! ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Matt40000 says:

Monday and Thursday, but I’ll admit that’s for purely selfish reasons – they’re my long days at university and webcomic-y goodness is very good on such days. Should have guessed Tatsu by the hair/head shape really. And it explains a lot about how he has hidden, disappeared and such. Plus who else is crazy enough to hide in a whale?

  6. The Sidhekin says:

I’ve got one set of bookmarks for each day of the week. I could always use a few more Tuesdays and Thirsdays … but really, it matters not. I don’t think anyone is going to pick up nor drop a comic based on update days. Just keep having fun. ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. Grace says:

Tuesday and Friday would be good, I think! I read around 80-90 webcomics, and Monday-Thursday and Tuesday-Thursday are already very common for two-day-a-week comics. Monday-Friday isn’t quite as common, but Monday-Wednesday-Friday comics help make Monday busy. So Tuesday-Friday would put you on days that aren’t already too busy.

  8. I read this via RSS, so it’s all the same to me. ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. Michael says:

Tuesday/Thursday seems to be another common 2-per-week update schedule, but this is just an excuse to stop lurking and say what’s really on my mind.
I’ve only recently begun reading your comic but from what I’ve seen so far I love it! It’s deep, suspenseful, the action scenes are well paced and choreographed, and it has just enough comedy/lighter moments to keep it all from becoming too dark.
You, Remus Shepherd, are an excellent author and artist. I eagerly await the next installment of this grand tale.

  10. --jt-- says:

    More feedback?
Set the turntable on the woofer and turn the amp up to eleven.

  11. Remus Shepherd says:

Thank you, Michael, I’m glad you’re enjoying the story. I think you’ll love the art even more starting next chapter.

  12. chukg says:

I said Monday and Thursday because Thursdays I have fewer other webcomics.

  13. LT says:

I guess the doctor is done messing with people and is ready to start a proper revolution

  14. Zarpaulus says:

I have to wonder on what Dahnai and Fumiaki disagreed on.

  15. Bobbageddon says:

Tuesday and Thursday, because I always seek symmetry…. and it looks nice …

  16. Thomas says:

I think keeping the focus on your artwork story cycle, and keep the focus away from pleasing the readers with a reliable cycle – it’s your story, find your best way to tell it, and don’t let us (the readers) tell you the best way to feed our addiction – we could be given updates every 40 minutes, and some will complain its not fast or reliable enough … Tarol Hunt of Goblins webcomic is now updating every 4 days, it works better with his working cycle, and he can get his artwork & private life working around the cycle better. I am suggesting that you can do a similar thing … That’s IMO better than Megatokyo’s continual delay with updates on ‘regular’ posting that was influenced with health issues that were private, and precluded guilt outpourings at promises not being met.
