I am interested in evil and madness. There is only one kind of sanity and decency, so all sane decent people are very much alike, but there are necessarily an unlimited variety of kinds of madness and evil.

All right, after a bit of explosive excitement we’re going to bring the chapter to a softer landing.  Just have one more little reveal…

Dahnai: Hah...ah... Whoo. Hope my weird genes can handle a little radiation. Now that everyone thinks I'm dead...where should I hide out the next thousand years? ...or at least until humanity becomes sane. Madagascar sounds nice. Antarctica might be safer...but I don't want to be both cold and alone.
(off-panel): Alone? You're not alone...

  1. Youvebeentangled says:

Oh man, I cant wait to find out who it is. The original Dr Fumaki?!

  2. Sonja says:

A crazy AI? The Genocide Project? Is it something terrible that’s waiting for her…? Hopefully not!

  3. vonBoomslang says:

I’m going to go with “Roger bugged her Narwhal”. And I will live in blissful ignorance of alternatives until monday.

  4. Zarpaulus says:

Well, Madagascar will close their ports the minute the Genocide Project unleashes the next tailored plague. Actually I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve been locked down for the past century.

  5. Cray Z. Bouy says:

My first thought was Roger, either on-screen or in the narwhal. Then I remembered that he was with Jacob. My next giess would be Fumiaki.

  6. Ro͈̤͕'̰̝̺̹̺̪͟W͈̗͇a̬̰̦̳n̶̻̱̟͚ says:

My money is on it being the ORIGINAL Dr.Fumiaki………….

  7. jprime says:

    It’s Jacob. No question.

  8. SCAScot says:

That narwhal seems to have TARDIS-like qualities – it’s bigger on the inside…

  9. Remus Shepherd says:

Yeah, Michael pointed out to me that narwhals are pretty small whales. I told him to go ahead and do the best he could with it. Some of the inside or outside dimensions may be exaggerated. Like I said last page, these final few pages may be largely motivated by the rule of cool. 🙂
