Michael experimented with some new inking styles in chapter 13, to put more detail work in the panels. Lovely stuff — I think it makes a great, dark atmosphere for our team’s soul-searching…

Jacob: Roger's okay, too. If I had carried Fumiaki's plague to him, he'd be dead by now.
Roger: Yeah, thanks for using me as a guinea pig.
Jacob: Hmph. Take all of them.

Also, poor guinea pigs! In German we have a similar term with rabbits: “Versuchskaninchen”.
To be honest, I personally think is that Kentaro actually IS an AI, but Girii lied to him.. after all, Fumiaki himself didn’t go.. er.. craziER.. until Jacob dragged him in front of the machine and said ‘yup, AI, knew it’.
Basically, if he doesn’t know he’s an AI, he won’t go AI crazy.
I wonder if her empathy skills work over video…
