These two aren’t exactly ‘ha ha’ funny, I know.  But it’s time for our story to expand beyond one small arctic town.  We’ll be circling the world before it’s through.

Lola: Of course, our salvation...is that we're a necessary evil. Anyway, Kevin, your data's off. Joey may be a mercenary, but Jacob was a soldier.
Kevin: I don't see the difference.
Lola: Jacob has honor, and a sense of duty. Where is he? What assets do we have in the area?
Kevin: He's in the arctic, Nunavut territory. We've got almost nothing up there. Which is why we sent him in the first place. That sense of duty is so useful, sometimes.
Lola: Hrmn.

Not an OSHA approved workplace I guess – no handrails up those steps. 🙂

I’m impressed with your perspective work. It is getting pretty solid… Did you make a CGI model to follow?

Re this last set of names: Each named after the animal with which they are sharing some DNA?

  2. Remus Shepherd says:

Yes, I have a CGI model of this room. I still do two or three line perspective sometimes, but I’m making models more often because they speed the process.

The names of the Genocide men are explained a bit late…I’m thinking maybe chapter 6. Their names aren’t connected to any big mystery. Whether or not Jacob’s genes have been played with — that, as we saw earlier in this chapter, may be a big mystery.

I love the “walking” wheelchair. Solves the need for ramps next to stairs. 🙂
