Chapter 6, Page 15

Just filling in a little backstory, here. Caera might be starstruck right now, but I’m sure she’ll be shaking things up at the project before long.

↓ Transcript
Lola: Caera, isn't it? You look well, all things considered.
Caera: It's an honor, Miss Lamb.
Lola: I imagine you're ready to start your treatments.
Caera: Yes, Ma'am. I've even picked out my code name.
Lola: Oh, the code names. Not really necessary, any more. Jacob and Kevin came up with them, as I recall...
Jacob: I have distant relatives -- should I be worried about them? Maybe it would be better to use code names, like 'Jacob Doe'.
Kevin: That's an excellent idea, Jacob. We've already got a 'Lola Lamb'. We can have 'Peter Pup', and I'll be 'Kevin Kidd'...
Jacob: I'm serious, Kevin.
Kevin: So am I! And we'll have --
Joey: Joey. Just 'Joey'.
Lola: Frank, why don't you give Caera a quick tour? I need to chat with Kevin for a bit...

  1. Evan says:

Is “Joey” a giant or is that a small knife?

  2. Remus Shepherd says:

Joey is a big guy — if Jacob is six feet tall, Joey is about six and a half. But I probably drew that knife a little small. I have yet to master proportions, as an artist.
