The work of the eyes is done. Go now and do the heart-work on the images imprisoned within you.

Chapter 11, Page 3

Jacob is not the world’s greatest detective.  But he is observant, and he’s very, very persistent.  Roger could learn a thing or two from him.

I’m not sure you’d call Largo ‘persistent’, but he is consistent, and that’s a virtue of its own.  🙂

↓ Transcript
Dahnai: There, see? You move well.
Jacob: What's he hiding, Dahnai?
Dahnai: Try to move with the rhythm, not make your own.
Jacob: What is he going to do with that new tech?
Dahnai: You'd dance better if you didn't keep repeating the same steps.
Jacob: Look, Dahnai. I don't want to hurt him. But he's been planning something for years. The experiments on the Inuits...the slo-cows...now the chrysalis pods. They're all part of a larger plan. I know it.
Largo: Largo wishes he was part of something larger. But it's obvious he's some kind of failure.
Roger: I know the feeling.

  1. Tim says:

“You’d dance better if you didn’t keep repeating the same steps.”

That sounds like she’s trying to drop some hints, I wonder if the room is bugged? Well, I mean… more bugged than Roger makes any room he’s in.

  2. ArKain says:

That tail makes me want to pet it…

  4. ML says:

Tim, I get the same feeling.

  5. Moxie Man says:

Tim, I think you nailed it. Alas, if Jacob understands, he’s not letting on.

  6. TheLoneWulf says:

I’m right with ya, Tim. She’s telling him exactly what he wants to know, but coded so that way the doc, who is undoubtedly listening in one form or another, isn’t going to get it right away. Unfortunately, neither is Jacob.

  7. Zarpaulus says:

How is Largo using that tablet with claws?

It’s hard enough to use them with fingers.

  8. Moxie Man says:

    Largo claws like stylus.
